PAIA Biotech has developed a patented detection technology using special microplates for high throughput mispairing, aggregation and glycan assay solutions.

PAIA’s novel technology streamlines bead-based fluorescence assays by eliminating several assay steps with specially designed microplates, leading to reduced hands-on time and a fully automatable workflow.

Assay kits include PAIA microplates and a combination of functionalised capture beads and a fluorescence marker which is optimised for a given application – all you have to do is add the reagent and your sample! The washing steps are eliminated and bead separation is achieved by simple sedimentation that removes the beads from the light path.

Feature advantages of PAIA’s plate-based assay technology:
  • Analysis of either purified or crude supernatant samples
  • Very little sample preparation means time saved
  • Small sample volumes required
  • Easy to use kits including plate with pre-loaded beads and reagents
  • No washing steps
  • Automation ready!
  • Assay can be measured onCELLAVISTAorNYONE, as well as standard plate readers

PAIA glycan assays use the same general principle and workflow, but employ markers specific for the glycans present on the antibody or protein of interest.

PAIA assays require a common orbital shakers for incubation and a standard fluorescence readers or microscope for analysis.
